I had a major revelation the other day. It just blew my mind when I found out. It was as if I had had the wrong glasses all my life and suddenly got the right ones. The world slid into focus and I was reborn.

These are exiting times as I say goodbye to the beloved capital of Norway. I'm moving to my new internship at Bergen Baptist Church, I'm moving closer to my family and last but not least, I'm moving closer to my girlfriend. Things will never be the same from here on out.

May 17th! Our proud peoples national day. The day we celebrate our Independence from the Swedish bastards (no offense). The day we all can walk around in our national costume eating hot dogs, ice cream and candy floss. It is a day to gather in great masses and walk side by side waving our flag and shouting the national anthem in chorus. This is the day that Norwegians become all the more nationalistic (as if we are not nationalistic enough every other day of the year). It is also a day for family, or for those who hasn't got a family nearby, a day for friends to meet and celebrate together. A day for LUUUUVV!!! (ok, Stig... take it down a notch, will you?)
