If I were to describe grace in any way right now, I would describe it as sound.
Hold your left arm so that you can touch your left shoulder with your hand. Tap the right hand middle finger on your left hand elbow. You hear the sound, but it is very faint. Place your elbow on a table and tap it again. The sound is stronger, but it sounds almost as if you are tapping the table because the sound travels from your elbow and out from the table. Lean your head in your right hand so that your ear touches the palm of your hand. Tap your elbow again. You hear the sound, though a bit muffled. Tap the underside of the table as you hold your head to your palm and your elbow to the table. The sound is still there.
This is grace. No matter what you do or how you do it, you can still hear the sound. Grace is all around you all the time, even though you try to close your ears to it, it is still offered to you all the time.
The last two months have been filled with the loud and sweet sound of "The Grace-Drums". I've met so many fantastic people, gained many new friends, been challenged by God and just felt His love wash over me directly through him or through people I meet. It is great!
Open your ears to the sound of grace!
Let Love Live
Peace Out! Grace in!
PS: I have a funny picture in my head now of people reading this post tapping their elbows, tables and heads just to hear the sound of grace.
